UNLV's College of Education

is pleased to host the Gayle A. Zeiter Conference, annually.

The mission of the Zeiter conference is to engage teachers, librarians, budding authors and illustrators, university faculty and students of all ages, in a day of exploration and engagement with renowned Children's and Young Adult authors. 

This years attendees will have the opportunity to hear

Ellen Hopkins, Alexander London and Judy Schachner share their work. Break out sessions will also be offered with various opportunities to learn ways to share and teach with children's and young adult literature, explore diverse topics in literature and learn more about becoming an author/illustrator.
